Lee Byung Hun & IRIS left for Hungary filming
Actor Lee Byung-hun and the blockbuster drama ‘IRIS’ production crew will be leaving for Hungary to start the foreign location filming once again.
He is scheduled to leave for Hungary on the 10th, working for about a month filming IRIS in the European country.
The drama which started shooting in Japan earlier in March for 3 weeks will now take place in Budapest, Hungary with filming the major scenes. LBH, KTH and KSY are said to leave together for Hungary.
When the shooting in Hungary finishes presumably at end of June or early July, Byunghun-ssi will be going to Hollywood to continue with his GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra promotions throughout the month of July before coming back to Korea and Japan to further continue with other movie promo activities such as ICWTR and GBW, as well as Rise of Cobra’s worldwide release in August.

I was also there, it was awesome! A car went up in flames, a guy got shot in the shoulder… I wish I could’ve stayed longer, really shame that it started to rain.
I’m definitely checking out the series! Can’t wait! : )

To be honest, I wasn’t really into Korean dramas up until now, so I wasn’t aware of the filming crew coming to Hungary. It was pure coincidende that I stumbled across the team (or rather, the security guys told us that the parking lot was off-limits…^_^;), but the set was so spectacular that after returning home I spent like an hour and half browsing to find out what was going on until I found the trailer of IRIS on youtube… WOW! O_O Amazing.
Oh, by the way – I found some pictures taken in Keszthely by another fan a week ago. I hope I won’t violate any forum rules by posting a link:

And by what I read, IRIS would feature some of the same sites the film ‘I Spy’ (2002, with Eddie Murphy) did.
